WELLSVILLE — Ghosts, goblins and other costumed characters were invited to enjoy an afternoon of Halloween fun Sunday as Eyes on Wellsville Inc. hosted its annual Trunk-or-Treat event. The event was held from 3-5 p.m. Oct. 18 in the front parking lot of Wellsville Junior/Senior High School. Local businesses, organizations and individuals were invited to participate by decorating their vehicles and handing out candy and other treats to children. Participation was free, with volunteers responsible only for providing their own decorations and treats. Organizers encouraged participants to prepare for at least 400 children. The community event was organized with the help of Kari Emler-Daniels, Jamie Lee and Jody Kireta as a way to bring families together for a safe and festive Halloween celebration.
